Pesto pasta sauce recipe suitable for babies from 8 months, add garlic or melt in soft cheese for a milder flavour

Ingredients

  • fresh basil 2 handfuls, washed
  • parmesan 2 tbsp, grated
  • Olive oil 125ml
  • whole clove of garlic 1, crushed (optional)

Method

  • STEP 1
    Place all of the ingredients in a food processor and blend until thoroughly combined.

Store in the fridge for up to a week.

Serve with hot or cold pasta.

For a milder pasta sauce, stir into melted soft cheese.
