Spaghetti bolognese
This easy-to-make beef bolognese recipe is suitable for babies from 9 months
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 500g minced beef
- 1 whole small onion, finely chopped
- 1 whole carrot, grated
- 400g chopped tomato
- 1 tbsp tomato puree
Method
- STEP 1
Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry onion, garlic and grated carrot until soft. - STEP 2
Add the mince and fry until it turns from pink to grey. - STEP 3
Add the tin of chopped tomatoes and the tomato puree and simmer until the sauce is thick (20-30 minutes). - STEP 4
Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti following the instructions on the packet.
Use scissors to cut the spaghetti into 3-5cm long pieces.
