Sweetcorn and sweet potato pasta
Vitamin-packed sweetcorn and sweet potato pasta recipe with added vegetables, suitable for babies from 6 months
Ingredients
- sweet potato 225g, chopped
- whole milk 350ml
- cauliflower 100g
- frozen sweetcorn 40g
- cheese 40g, grated
Method
- STEP 1
Heat milk and sweet potato in a saucepan, then bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes. - STEP 2
Add small florets of cauliflower and cook for a further 10 minutes. - STEP 3
Add sweetcorn and cook for 5 more minutes before removing from heat. - STEP 4
Stir in grated cheese, then blend to the right consistency for your baby.
Combine with cooked pasta before blending for a younger baby, or serve as a sauce on chopped pasta for older babies and toddlers.
